I just read that Mel B, Maks' season 5 partner, landed a sweet gig on Australia's DWTS today. She'll be hosting their version fulltime. It couldn't have happened to a more wonderful person. Congratulations Mel.

Might actually watch the show if you get some young people back on and bring my favorite pros back like Chelsie Hightower and Louie Van Amstel. Last year I called that season the Geriatric Show and didn't watch it but from what I heard the one and only star on that season WON!!! And what's even funnier about my opinion is I'm in a more mature age group but who in heck wants to watch our joints creak???? It's really not entertaining, it's just a boring fact of life & has a predictable outcome.

I would love to see a "Season of Champions." DWTS has been on long enough now that champions from each season could be asked back. What a wonderful time for Stacie Keebler to return! Might have to scramble for some of the pros since some have won more than once, but something could be worked out.

Hopefully the producers have realized that it is now time for same sex partnering! Imagine Portia DeRossi (if you can pry her away from Ellen ;-) and Lacey Schwimmer... Can you imagine the absolutely HOT Paso Doble these two could perform? Or how about Neil Patrick Harris and Mark Ballas doing a crazy guy vs guy quickstep? The possiblilties are really endless...

NOW, is definitely NOT the time. NEVER would be more the time. Society may now approve of same sex partnering and we have become more accustomed to seeing examples of it, but few find it entertaining. Max continually exhibiting aggression towards his partner and barely contained temper is enough to choke down and explain to children each week. If it wasn't for the wonderful choreography and healthy competition to counter the later, this would be one less choice for family entertainment each week.

I can only speak for myself ... I think that's a bad move at this time. The "Chaz Bono experience" drove a wedge between the viewers that ABC just wasn't anticipating. Regarding same sex partners, advertising dollars will suffer and eventually the show will suffer. Nope... as much as I love watching beautiful women perform on the dance floor, I'll have to say Nay to this idea.

Please keep Maks!...he is the only reason I watch the show. Yes sometimes he gets a little emotional...but I think he is just very passionate about dancing and working so hard to make his partner perform beyond their natural abilities. Not to mention, he's just so darn charismatic. Give him a partner that can physically keep up with him. Mel B was a great fit, and thought they definitely should have won that year! Also, Tristan is a great addition! I enjoy his style!

Please get a replacement for Carrie Ann. Get a new judge that knows something about ballroom and have the judges stick to judging ballroom dancing and not voting on who has the best personality or the best looking legs/butt. Also, Brooke Burke needs to go. She is awful at interviewing and looks like a robot. I would like to see Curtis Stone the Chef on the show and definitely have Maksim back. He's the reason I watch!

Suggestions: Country singer/Activist Jimmy Wayne, Country Singer Wynonna Judd. Singers MC Hammer, Dr Dre or Jay Z would be cool. How about some Christian singers...I don't think I've seen one yet...like Steven Curtis Chapman and Amy Grant. Comedian Whoopi!!! It would be great to have famous duos like Stephi Graf/Andre Agassi, Viggo Mortensen/Liv Tyler (Aragorn/Arwen), Richard Gere/Julia Roberts (Pretty Woman), Cary Elwes/Robin Wright Penn (Princess Bride)...and wouldn't it be amazing if there were such legendary duos like Clint Eastwood/Meryl Streep (Bridges of Madison County) to join the cast. I really feel this last season was scraping the bottom of the barrel with Chaz Bono, for example. Seems like a nice enough guy but he coasted on his Mom's name. The entire season was topsy-turvy with good people eliminated early on and far less skilled people continuing. Almost enough to cause me to stop watching. Would love to see Julianne back, of course. Why don't you spread out into other sports such as hockey players who just might have the grace to compete.
