my six year old son is going to be elated to see Ochocinco is going to be on mommy's favorite abc show! He is going to love seeing Ochocinco move on the dance floor just as much as he loves to see him move on the field! We're rooting for ya Chad....you deserve it especially after the lose of your friend who I know is proud of you & will be watching you from above.

That’s what's wrong with DWTS, it’s not a competition. It’s a popularity thing and nothing to do with how well the so call celebrities dance. Just look at all the postings for each of the contestants. People are already saying who they will vote for before the dancing begins and regardless how well their favorite dances. If this was a true competition the judges’ votes would carry the most weight not 50-50 as it is now. The judges’ votes should count for at least 60% of the score. Besides these people are not stars, they are has-beens hoping that this stuff will help regenerate their careers.

when i was told chad would be on DWTS i couldnt beleive it!!! im from cincinnati myself and he is huge in the city, i have been to bengals traing camp 3 times and LOVE HIM im more of a shayne graham girl but chad in my solid second. i love my bengals!!!!!! chad, if your reading this, MY FAMILY WISHES YOU AND CHERYL THE BEST LUCK EVER!!!

So far the football players have been some of the more entertaining dancers on the show. I hope Chad continues the trend.

This guy is a spotlight seeking jerk. Only one worse is Owens. He will pawn himself off as a good guy but believe me he is all about Ochocinco and only Ochocinco.

Anyone who says Chad is a bad example for sports or has an attitude or anything negative doesn't follow the bengals closely. This guy bought out or partnered to sell the last 5,000 or so seats during quite a few bengals home games so that the game wasn't blacked out for Cincinnati fans watching at home. He invites people via twitter to go watch movies with him. He flies out fans to home games. He's friendly to the other fans. He is passionate and one of my favorite athletes by FAR!

Whether you like Chad or not let us Cincinnati fans have our moment! I am so PUMPED for this season! I love Chad, always have, I think his energy and antics are great for the city and the team! I'm betting he has a pretty awesome football season this year considering the shape he is going to get into after dancing! As a Cincinnati native and Bengals fan, I'll say I'm rather sick of Chad Johnson's (I have a hard time calling him "Ochocinco") attitude and antics. However, I think this season will be amusing with him in it, and I'm glad they paired him with Cheryl, because honestly, I think she's the ONLY one of the professional women who will really be able to keep him in line.

I am tired of the pro football players and basketball players having to partner up with women who are just too short to make them look good. If he is tall, give him a tall girl.

I am always excited when athletes get on the show. Most of them have been incredibly dedicated to learning to dance and many have done extremely well!

Chad is my favorite football player to make it on the show so far... though it could just be that I have fun saying his name. Ochocinco.

I hate to say this but here it goes..... Another football player who can't dance but people are so in awe of. Oh please give me a break. None of the previous ones couldn't dance. Who was that partner with Cheryl a few years back? I think they called him a big teddy bear. He couldn't dance but everybody loved him. All of his moves looked the same. I hope to be pleasantly surprised by this one this year. I really just hate to see it over and over again. Sure they may have agility on the field but on the dance floor nope, nada. MHO only folks.
