Night 2 Wrapup:
Tonight the women took the stage for the first time, kicked off with the eight female pro dancers in a sexy performance to Tom Jones' "She's a Lady." There was a tangible energy in the theater—the audience and the judges were clamoring to see who's got game this season.
It wasn't clear what was going to emerge from weeks and weeks of rehearsal. Who's bringing the sexy for the Salsa, and who's got the grace for the Waltz? The judges didn't hold their punches. And by the end of the night, we can honestly say we were happily wowed and surprised by a number of shining performances and personalities. Coming out on top was model Joanna Krupa who, with partner Derek Hough, owned the dance floor with a sizzling hot Salsa, followed by a showstopping Foxtrot in the relay competition.

Highlights of the night
Kelly Osbourne. She blossomed tonight. Her confident, flowing, beautiful Viennese Waltz; her delicate, energetic footwork in her cha cha cha; her proud parents gushing. We really didn't expect this beautiful transformation... the rebellious little rocker girl has become a graceful, glamorous woman.
Bruno and Len clash. Len's a stickler, and he wasn't comfortable with Mya & Dmitry straying from the classic rules of the Viennese Waltz: "The further you go from the roots of a dance, the more you lose. This was not a Viennese Waltz, it was a theatrical hodgepodge." Bruno sprung to his feet to argue: "That was artistry in motion! The girl was magnificent!"
