Night 1 Wrapup:

Season 9 of Dancing with the Stars started with a bang—the male Pro Dancers performing an energetic dance number to "The Boys are Back In Town," kicking off tonight's show featuring the male celebrities. No one was quite sure what to expect from this mixed group, including a snowboarder, a football player, an ultimate fighter, a singer, a comedian, a kung-fu expert, a politician, and an Osmond.

In the end, former teen pop sensation Aaron Carter reigned tonight, with the highest judges score, 22 for his Cha Cha Cha with partner Karina Smirnoff, (Len gave them an 8—the only 8 of the night) and 1st place in the relay with their Viennese waltz.

Highlight of the night
It'll be a while before we forget the wild, energetic, lip-syncing bravado of former Republican congressman Tom DeLay commanding the dance floor Cha Cha Cha-ing to "Wild Thing."
