Breaking News: Country Night & Taylor Swift Performs

  • By ABC.com
Week 6 of DWTS: Monday is Country Night!  And Tuesday the ballroom is filled with two special musical guests.

It's Week 6 and 8 couples remain in the competition.  Although no one was eliminated during week 5, the pressure is still on for the All-Stars.

This week, the couples will perform dances they haven't yet done this season, all danced to country music.  Here's a hint as to three dances you'll see:

Kelly & Val:  Tango
Kiristie & Maks:  Rumba
Emmitt & Cheryl:  Foxtrot

Also, Big & Rich and Cowboy Troy will perform LIVE on Monday night, singing a medley of "I Play Chicken with the Train," and "Save A Horse (Ride A Cowboy)" while all 8 couuples perform a group dance.  These songs may sound familiar to you as Donald Driver danced his Season 14 Freestyle to the first song, and Drew Lachey did his infamous Season 2 Freestyle to the second song.

On Tuesday night, we'll have two special guest in the ballroom:  Taylor Swift will be performing a song from her new album and Jason Mraz will perofrm live.  Plus there will be a special Macy's Performance.

Speaking of Freestyles, did you see both Team Dances last week?  Here's your chance to rewatch each one: Team Call Me Maybe and Team Gangnam style.  Were the judges fair in their scoring?

We also put together a gallery "Favorite Freestyles" over the last 14 seasons.  Check it out.

Tune in Monday night at 8PM ET/PT to see the eight couples celebrate Country Night.  And be sure to watch our After Party for post-show analysis and interviews!
