Dancing with the Stars Results: Week 9

  • By Mike Krolak

This night was full of surprises. Jack Osbourne & Cheryl Burke finally put together all the pieces and received two 10s on the way to taking the top score in the first round of dancing for their Viennese Waltz. Then Corbin Bleu & Karina Smirnoff, along with guest dancer Witney Carson, danced a Jazz routine that had judge Carrie Ann Inaba raving that it was the best dance ever performed on the show. Not to be outdone, Elizabeth Berkley Lauren & Val Chmerkovskiy and their guest partner Gleb Savchenko danced a Salsa that got them a 30 to match.

Though Bill Engvall and Emma Slater had the two lowest scores of the night, your votes saved them and they will continue on in the semifinals! But that meant that Elizabeth and Val were the couple sent home, despite their high scores.

Top Dances:
Round 1, solo dance - Jack Osbourne & Cheryl Burke - Viennese Waltz (29 points)
Round 2, trio dance - Corbin Bleu & Karina Smirnoff (w/ Witney Carson) - Jazz (30 points)
Round 2, trio dance - Elizabeth Berkley Lauren & Val Chmerkovskiy (w/ Gleb Savchenko) - Salsa (30 points)

Lowest Score:
Bill Engvall and Emma Slater - Charleston (21 points)
