Dancing with the Stars Results: Week 3

  • By Mike Krolak

With another week of results for the Fall 2013 season of Dancing with the Stars under our belts, we saw some new leaders and said goodbye to another pair. There was plenty of good dancing, as 9 of the 11 remaining teams received at least one 8 from the judges on their performances this week. Corbin Bleu and Karina Smirnoff reasserted their skills with a quickstep that earned them a 26, and Christina Milian and Mark Ballas landed a 26 as well for their Charleston. But it was Brant Daugherty and Peta Murgatroyd who wowed the judges the most, receiving a 27 for their quickstep routine.

Somebody had to go home, of course, and although they danced an inventive jazz routine that helped mask an injury, Bill Nye and Tyne Stecklein were sent home on a combination of judges scores and fan votes.

Top Dance:
Brant Daugherty and Peta Murgatroyd - Quickstep (27 points)

Lowest Score:
Valerie Harper and Tristan MacManus - Cha Cha (16 points)
Bill Nye and Tyne Stecklein - Jazz (16 points)
