It’s Week Two of Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars and as we saw from Week 1, the competition is fierce! Only 7.5 points separated the star at the top of the leaderboard, Emmitt, from Pamela at the bottom. And boy we were surprised when former Season 2 champ Drew Lachey landed in the bottom 2!
This week, the All-Stars will take the competition to a whole new pace with the fast-paced Jive and the aptly named Quick Step. The Jive was influnced by the Boggie and African /American Swing -- with its roots in New York's Harlem. Read more about the distinctive moves of the Jive. Do you know that during the 1920's the Foxtrot was played too fast by some bands and couples couldn't keep up? This helped lead to the developed of the Quickstep. Find out more.
And be sure to tune in on Tuesday 8|7c for the Result Show which will feature a special musical performance from Season 14 finalist and classical singer, Katherine Jenkins, English recording artist, Cher Lloyd and Spanish singer, Placido Domingo!
Each week we'll include the top moments in our Show Stoppers gallery. Re-watch the top moments from the Season Premiere. And you can always connect with Dancing Fans on our Social Scene page: chat live, post in our discussion area, or see what the stars and dancers are tweeting about!
