Breaking News: Fusion Dances

By ABC.com | Nov 2nd, 2012
Week 7 of DWTS: The All-Stars perform fusion dances and a spectacular AT&T Spotlight Performance takes place in the ballroom.

In the ballroom this week, the seven remaining couples will perform fusion dances.  You may ask, what's a fusion dance?  We certainly did.  Each couple was assigned two different dance styles that they must merge into one dance performance. Looking at these combinations, we bet it's going to be a challenge to pull off some of these dances!  That's why they are the All-Stars!

Here's the fusion dances each couple will perform:

Apolo & Karina:  Cha Cha/Paso Doble
Emmitt & Cheryl: Rumba/Samba
Kelly & Val: Foxtrot/Cha Cha
Kirstie & Maks: Quickstep/Samba
Gilles & Peta: Argentine Tango/Samba
Melissa & TonY: Tango/Cha Cha
Shawn & Derek: Tango/Paso Doble

Which ones do you think will be the toughest?
Following those dances will be a special A&T Spotlight Performance, the second of the season. This one will feature Mark Ballas, Chelsie Hightower and 10 of the best dancers from Utah.  With each of the dancers ranging in age from 15-18, they are truly the bright future of ballroom.
