Meet the 12 professional dancers of Dancing with the Stars Season 13. Click through our gallery to see the six men and six women who will be mentoring this season's stars as they compete for the coveted mirror ball trophy.

The excitement builds as the pros and the stars prepare themselves for latest season of television's hottest dance show.

The pros, the stars, the drama, the glamour and the glitter are back on ABC! Dancing with the Stars returns on MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 19 (8:00-10:00 p.m., ET) with a sensational two-hour season premiere. On TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, there will be two hours of original programming, beginning with Dancing with the Stars: Meet the Cast (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET), followed by the premiere of Dancing with the Stars the Results Show (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET).

Hosted by Tom Bergeron (America's Funniest Home Videos) and Brooke Burke (Dancing with the Stars Season Seven Champion), Dancing with the Stars is the hit series in which celebrities perform choreographed dance routines which are judged by renowned ballroom judge Len Goodman and dancer/choreographers Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba.

I love the hosts, the judges, the musicians and especially all the pro's past & present they make the show something you can't resist and the stars are a bonus ....this show is my guilty pleasure!!!!! I too like and miss Dimitry & Louie this season, however Val is a brilliant addition to the show and I love the passion and intensity he emotes when he dances Val is AWEsome!!!!!

I can't say I'm surprised at the cast of pro's & "stars". After all, this is ABC we're talking about! You know, the one that cancelled All My Children & One Life To Live, both of which I have watched since they started. As for "Chaz", she/he has a girlfriend, so why isn't she just a lesbian? Doesn't make sense to me!!! As far as Carson goes, well, I kind of like him, because I get a kick out of watching him on his show (Carson Nation). His gestures are more girly than a girl. And remember, Bruno is gay, & so is Louis Van Amstel, although he's not on it this time. For anyone that's listening, while watching The Nate Berkus show the other day, he said he would like to be on DWTS, but he hadn't been asked. At least he is good looking, so let's get him on the next one! At least he is a "star". He has his own show!

Chaz is a man physically & legally so he can't be a lesbian. I respect and admire Chaz more than I can express and it most likely it would not make sense to you anyway. As for Nate are you aware he is also gay? BTW I adore Nate and all the other gay men you pointed out they are amazing human beings!!!!!

Please bring back Chelsie Hightower! She was the only reason I was still watching DWTS and now that she is gone so am I, which I know won't hurt your ratings but at least I won't be contributing to them. Chelsie not only maintained her beliefs without offending anybody, she accepted everybody with a live and let live attitude. I find it somehat disconcerting that you throw people like Chelsie Hightower and Louie Van Amstel under the bus and bring in back up dancers. What's with that???

That's what I want to know too. I so don't care about watching Mark. He is so egotistical and acts as though he is above everything and everyone involved with the show. Tristian looks robotic and bored. Ugh...Chelsie, Louie and Dmitry brought life and vitality to the show. I love this show and I will be watching, but these pros will be sorely missed. Don't know what producers were thinking....

I hope Anna will make her way through the finale this year! I don't know there's something creepy about Tristan. This guy is really handsome but he looks so cold and a bit arrogant while dancing. He's a really good dancer but I feel nothing while I see him dancing... Anyway, I'm French and I hope this season will rocks!

I totally agree! I miss Edyta but not as much as my brothers and many friends. Also I would love to see her husband Eric but have heard from several people who know most of the scoop that she refused to be a "Pro" unless they gave Eric a chance!

I don't know, but saw an internet interview with her on another site about health. She indicated that she was stunned about not being on this season AND she didn't even know if they were going to have her back in the future!! She has done really well on this show from her first season. My personal wonderings are; does ABC just think she is not controversial enough?? The last season finally had a great cast of stars. I was hopeful for the next ones. This season is stacked fairly oddly (for the Pros). Using all their "new" dancers and not using Chelsie??? Not good IMO. She is one of the best all round dancers they have had. Guess we will just have to wait to see by the next season in the spring. Bummed, I am. =[

It's an interesting cast this year. I especially am interested in how J Martinez from All my Children does. He's such a super guy. And I think Chaz has a great personality so should be fun to watch. And to all the nasty writers out there, grow up and join the real world. You're so living in the past. You could take a lesson from Chaz who is handling the whole nasty stuff with such class. I'm ready for the show to start.

This is the 21st century,we ar coming to the 10 years that the American People were hit by terror, for that time we were one with each other. As for the DWTS, the people chosen will have to prove they can dance that is what the show is about. For those with the problem with who is dancing, you have the problem..Have U not learned that being a bully is wrong. Think about ur actions and take a long look in the mirror who ar u to Judge people for who they ar? Do U like it when someone Judges u? ENOUGH...I Can;t wait to watch the show..

I think DWTS should get rid of BRUNO--or give him a muzzle...he is sickening with all of his off color, blatant remarks about body parts, etc, etc., If anyone should worry----it should be CHAZ----Bruno may want to check him out!!!! Poor Chaz!!!!

How ridiculous! It's the 21st century people! Women have the right to vote. African Americans can sit where they want to on the bus & drink out of whatever water fountain they choose. A man in a wheelchair can be elected president. Yes, a transgender person can compete in a dancing show on television. Hiding your prejudice behind "I can't explain 'transgender' to my 5 year old" is just plain sad. On the off chance your child asks why one of the dancers is famous (Billy Ray Cyrus is Miley's dad and he's been a famous singer for years prior to Miley's birth) give the most simple answer. The answer for Chaz would be very simple. Chaz' mom and dad had a TV show and songs on the radio years ago and so he became famous too. He also wrote some books and had a TV show when he became an adult. Easy, right? I bet your child would accept the plain truth without embellishment. Remember: a child isn't born with prejudice. If you choose to not watch a show because of race, religion, political views, sexuality, ageism, or whatever your little mind can't handle, you may want to consider moving to a country with more stringent censorship regulations for the media.

this season is a big disappointment ...it would have been better to have Chad on if he was a star not just a child of a star ...otherwise you need to change the name of the show...it looks like the producers are making some really bad choices the past few seasons...one season we all knew by the second week who would come in first and second and that the others did not any chance at all !Come On Producers...you had a good thing going...go back to judges who gave constuctive critics ( and not trying to be funny? at the dancers expense) and people who they themselves are considered "stars" be it movies,TV, sports, music, fashion ect.

OK----So where are the "Stars"?????? All we'll get this season is Chaz's sex change controversy (which Cher has already had comments about), Ron Artest's major anger management problems with the judges (watch out Bruno!), Nancy Grace's inabillity to listen to criticism and allow others to finish a sentence, and the watchers saying, "Who the heck are these other people?"

I always love to see: Derek, Maksim, Karina and Kym dance! And now I'm really happy that Valentin and Peta are in! As to Chaz, I don't care who he is, but solely for aesthetic reasons, I don't think it'll look good. And it was kind of obvious that for guy who used to be a lady, the producers will, out of kindness, pick someone chunky to make him look a little smaller and make the picture slightly more balanced, so it had to between Lacey and Cheryl. Their choreographies are also nice to watch very often! Actually I "envy" them, 'coz where I come from people who aren't entirely proportionate and shapeful are not welcome to dance. Lacey had it easy for her father is a coach so she was exposed to dancing from the start. And all of the pros have one thing in common: parents supportive of their talent. And this is how people grow happy.

Love the cast. Will be rooting for David, Ron & Rob since I love the way Cheryl dances. Wish they would have put her with David or Ron but Rob is good. Can't believe all the comments..If you don't like who DWTS picked then why do you comment on here or on other messages boards saying you will not be watching. If you feel so strongly that you will not watch or comment saying your not going to watch then don't comment on peoples comments saying anything since obviously you aren't gonna watch then kept your mouth shut. We know you not gonna watch just don't keep telling people your not gonna watch. To me there is NOTHING wrong with DWTS in choosing Chaz to be on the show if you don't like it then don't watch it and don't comment to me that your not gonna watch it and stuff. Just my opinion.

I for one have watched every season, and almost every show and I have become less and less happy with who the producers are picking to be the "stars" Some seasons have pitted people with absolutely no dance experience with people who have taken lessons most of their lives. A bit unfair don't you think?
