1. Why do you want to be on Dancing with the Stars?

I think my participation on DWTS continues to show America that being transgender is okay. I'm happy in my body for the first time and so excited to be challenging myself in this way. And I'm looking forward to dancing as a man with one of the incredible female dance pros on DWTS and learning all I can.

2. Which dance style do you think is most "you"?

Tango or Waltz, as they are powerfully classic dances that convey so much.

3. What do you think is your biggest handicap to overcome if you're going to win?

My age & weight will definitely create obstacles, but I'm determined to overcome them.

4. Do you have a "Dancing" hero (for example a pro dancer or other Dancing star?) / Are any former DWTS stars an inspiration to you?

DWTS Pro Mark Ballas, I think he's the epitome of perseverance and he has this really positive attitude. I really enjoy watching his routines since he gives such a fresh perspective on classic dances.

5. Is there a particular dance/dance style that you most fear?

The quick step is definitely daunting.
