Katherine was great when she had so many secrets and when she had her breakdown, but now she is so boring. I loved Edie and now the show seems to be missing a lot. I love Angie but I wish she had a bigger role.

Marc Cherry, are u a fan of Case Closed since season 2's Betty Applewhite household is very close to the mother and son character in the Japanese Show Case Closed season 1 episode 21. first of all i love this show sooooo much!! when it first came out my parents said i was too young to watch but i would always sneak it but now im almost 15 and im soo addicted to this show!!!!!! i know everything and anything about this show!!! i love all the drama and mystery! but i thibk that season 6 was missing some of that. dont get me wrong it had some mystery but in the past years, it had more. and sorry for being such a downer but i didnt like how all the good people are dying. like CARL and EDDIE! i loved them! they alway made the show more funny and more fun:) now theres no more people to cheat on anyone. haha so what im trying to say is..stop killing fun people:). for season 7, i think kayla should come back as a teen and she should be a little like ana and her personaltiy from when she was a kid. like she would still secretly hate lynette but act all nice to tom. kayla would be the perfect addition in my eyes. also i think the show needs a eddie or a carl becasue they stirred up thr love life which made the show more intresting and entertaining! i love the seasons when all the famliys play off of another and in the fanally of the season one big thing happens. kinda like how eli sturgs dies in the 100th epiode in the 5th season who he changed everones lives. i loved that epiosode. it was so heart filling and amazing. i loved it so much i cried at the end:) well to wrap things all up, kayla should come back, STOP KILLING THE FUN CHARACTERS:) and make a season that i will cry at the fanally:) well remember this commet because i will be a main character in 20 years. thats my dream:D

If the writers want to create a good mystery, then the mystery has to have a twist in the finale! Something no one could see coming. Something like Matthew is the real killer, not his brother, or Gloria Hodge was the killer, not Orson, Alma or Mike. The last 2 mysteries were really predictable and boring. They did do a "whodunit" mystery involving the strangler, yes, but it turned out to be a backround character that no one knew anything about, and then after it was all revealed, then they introduce us to him. Big mistake. The "killer" should always be someone we know and don't suspect. The writers should read an Agatha Christie Novel to see what I am talking about. Also, the writers need to give us little hints that, in the end, turn out NOT to be important and the mystery turns out to be something totally different and all the hints were useless. That way, the mystery is NOT predictable. They should do what 24 always does, have the good guy that was introduced in the beginning of the sesaon, turn out to be the bad guy that was responsible for everything. DH is lacking shocking twists. The reason I love the mystery in season 3 is because when Orson is introduce we have NO idea what his story is. First we think the mystery is: why did he run over Mike, than it turns in to: why did he kill his wife, then it turns out his wife is alive but another woman is dead and we have at least 4 suspects (Orson, Mike, Gloria and Alma). That's a good mystery. I hope the writers learn from their mistakes and create a mystery that is not just a story that unfolds, but has a shocking twist that they reveal in the finale. Something no one could have seen coming.

Desperate is my favorite show and I can't think of any other show that I have run home for in the recent 5 years! I agree some of the story lines are getting a bit dull but I have faith things will return to normal... True Fan

Maybe the reason ratings were down because of the show not being shown on Life Time. I mean that was the reason I didn't get to watch it.

Is Vanessa Williams going to play a vixen? I loved Vanessa Williams on 'Ugly Betty.' She was the perfect vixen and I truly hope that she brings the same evil magic to this show. Having Renee be a soccer mom-type housewife would be a total let down.

The story lines have gotten very sloppy. It's like the writers don't take time to carefully construct the details and possibilities like they did before. It looks as if they cling on to one good idea, run with it and see where it goes without thinking it through. This results in many unfulfilling endings and rather than getting a genuine shock out of us, mostly we (or at least I) end up wondering "What was the point of watching that? Why was that relevant in that character's life?" They just don't know how to come up with good stories, and when they stumble upon one they don't know what to do with it. I'm glad to see Paul Young returning, but frankly I'm not holding my breath for it to change anything. I hope Felica Tilmann returns though. The show is past its prime and most of the episodes are hardly more interesting than watching paint dry. I don't blame Kyle Maclachlan for backing out. The only way this show could turn around is if the writers get it together and try to make the show at least half as entertaining as it used to be. And they need to introduce new, dark storylines. And the mystery has to be more complicated, involve more characters and most importantly, have a shocking twist in the finale!!!! Something jawdropping.

In the first two seasons, wasn't Susan's kitchen blown up by Zach? Didn't Eddie burn her entire house down? So how does the wall Julie's height was marked on survive all of this? Her house never changed, that could be overlooked because when people lose things, they try for exact replacements. A picture or two can be overlooked, she could have gotten copies from her mom, but the wall?? That was lame and people do notice this this stuff.

I hope in season 7, the writers will focus more on the relationships and less on the kids. I hated Juanita's homeschooling storyline and the "who's in what class" story was almost as awful as the "who can sell the most chocolate" story. I remember how entertaining Carlos and Gabrielle were in season 1-4 when they were always fighting, breaking up and getting back together, having affairs. Now it's all about the kids. It would be nice to see the Solis family get some focus for once, because I kind of hate how Cherry doesn't give them any long-running storylines - they always have the one-episode "arcs" where they learn the same old lessons in the same old way.

I think the housewives need to start hiding things for each other again i mean it was so much juicier when they had to lie and go out of there ways just to hide secrets! Lynette should do something out of charcter, recently it has all been about the problems with the family. i liked it when she was having trouble with her boss and actual adults besides tom!
