The other girls tell Juanita she must be adopted since she "isn't pretty enough" to be a  model's daughter, so she starts slathering on the makeup. To get Juanita to give up cosmetics Carlos suggests that Gabrielle not wear makeup for his big dinner as Latino Business Man of the year. Gabrielle agrees, but ends up demanding makeup from other women at the event before she'll be photographed. She has a big smile for the photographer but she can see she's let Juanita down. We're surprised when she actually pulls off a pep talk about inner beauty!

The police have i.d.'d the body from the nightclub fire as a psychiatrist from Boston, but Dave denies having seen the man. Dave also can't recall seeing Jackson, who got locked in the bathroom before the fire broke out. Since Jackson has left town, the police haven't questioned him about that night either.
