We wonder why Dave is so uncomfortable being called the hero of the nightclub fire, especially when Mike thanks him for saving his life. But we can put two and two together when Edie mentions Porter's fight with the bar owner: Dave's got a scapegoat! Meanwhile, we can't blame Tom and Lynette for considering that Porter might be guilty of arson, after all, he and his brother burned down Rick's restaurant five years ago.

Lynette pays Anne Schilling money to leave town. We're glad to see the last of her when she admits she lied about being pregnant with Porter's child. Porter swears to his parents that he didn't set the fire but we're not sure what they'll think now that "hero" Dave has placed Porter, and only Porter, at the scene of the crime.
