At their therapist, Dr. Goldfine's, Rex confesses to Bree he's not happy with their sex life and he wants to have a sexual surrogate. Bree is furious and storms out. While having dinner out alone, Bree runs into Dr. Goldfine and proceeds to contradict Rex's assertions that she is a "distant" lover by giving a long, enthusiastic speech on all the things she loves about sex. Bree surprises Rex at his motel, showing up in only a fur coat and her lingerie. He's ready for action, until she is distracted by his hastily discarded burrito spilling onto the floor. Suddenly, Rex isn't in the mood anymore and he kicks her out. When Rex stops by the house later, Bree insists he's the one who's been distant. When she presses him to tell her why, he leaves without an explanation.
