Child Protective Services takes Kayla's complaint that Lynette has been abusing her very seriously. We know she's lying, but the surveillance video of her slapping Kayla backs up the claim. We can't believe how conniving Kayla is when she burns herself with a curling iron once she hears that another incident will result in Lynette's arrest!

Tom finally realizes what a little sociopath he's got living under his roof and gets her to confess by threatening to send her away. She admits she made up the whole thing but Tom refuses to let her stay. We feel Tom's pain, and Lynette's relief, as Kayla is taken to live with her grandparents.
