We're so relieved that Lynette's family has survived the tornado, but Karen gets devastating news: Her friend, Ida, is dead. Lynette feels terribly guilty when Parker tells her that it was Ida who saved the children by urging them to hide under the stairs, and that there wasn't room for her. Since Ida played baseball during the war, Karen is sure she would want her ashes sprinkled at the local ball field. The owner won't allow them to scatter Ida's ashes, so we laugh as Lynette and Karen sneak in at night to do the job!
