Watch Another Desperate Housewife Pt. 6

We cringe when Juanita utters the f-word during a school play, but we cringe even harder at Gaby's overreaction to the proposed punishment: She curses out the principal and yanks Juanita out of the "crappy" school. But now Gaby has no choice but to home school Juanita, which goes as badly as we would have guessed. Juanita misses her friends and we wince after she doesn't answer when Gaby asks, "You still think I'm a good mom, right?"

Lynette is appalled to learn that Tom cheated on a test at school, but he insists, "There are times in life when you need to break the rules to survive." We're worried when he admits he might flunk out. He points out that she can't take the moral high ground since she's continued to lie about being pregnant, knowing that if Carlos finds out, she could lose her job. "You're no better than I am," he tells her.

I think Gaby does her best given what shes been dealt in life. She didnt want kids, she was clear with Carlos about that. I think she is as maternal as she can be, but then, this is only a show, so if Mark Cherry wants her to be less than maternal, then that is what she is, a wonderful actress. Good job Eva.

yes i agree gaby id far from perfect BUT shes doing the best she can. i would be the same way! she cant be supermom or wonder woman. she stook up for her daughter in the way she thought would be helpful...and i agree that it was. she is a great mother and i hope her spirit is never let down by that.

I think Gaby has come a long way from where she was. When her husband was blind she did it all. Yes, I think so, the daughter needs discipline from both of them.

I think Gaby is a good mom in her own way. because i mean she feeds them clothes and makes them have an education and she puts a roof over her head. so thats all that matters.

Its hard for me to belive that Gaby's Catholic. My father and his family was Catholic and I grew up know full well of the "Spare the rod and Spoil the child." rule Juanita just needs a little firm handded guidence.

I think Gaby is a good mom, except for the fact that she allows her too young daughters to be so overweight and unhealthy..shame..also she needs to learn to discipline her kids better..Juanita is a lil [well not lil haha] monster..

Gaby just needs to be a more hands on parent. Her kids are the typical pains in the a s s that most kids are these days because the parents let them get away with anything.

Sometimes yes and sometimes no. I think it's great that she'll stick up for her girls, but I do think she went a bit far last week. I think Juanita has every right to be angry with Gaby; to tell you the truth, I'd be mad too. But you can tell that Gaby wasn't trying to make the issue worse.

Yes i think gabby is a good mother considering her childhood pst with her mom. but no ones perfect. She thought she was doing the right thing by standingp for her daughter and her self , but shouldve been handle in a better manner,(fr the sake of the kids)

yes her kids are alive and somewhat happy. yes gabby does have a mouth "somtimes" so do all perants some are just better at hidding it. i think gabby is a great role modle for her kids and people that watch the show. she's a hard worker and she gets what she wants and she beautiful.

Not great, but not awful. She's funny and straight forward which is refreshing. But I wish she would get her kids to lose some weight. And the actors that play her kids are not in the least bit charming.

I don't think that you can really judge a mom as being good or bad. There are moments when you see a big happy family, but only days later you may see them yelling or fighting at each other. Over all, if someone has to give an answer, it should be after the chilren have grown up. It would be easier to see what kind of people they have turned into. I think that you basically say 'she's a good mom' because her children love her. Not because of the mother's actions. And most of the time, her children do love her. All families have their fights, but I think that over all Gaby is a good mother.

I Think she is, At fiest she never wanted kids but then she had to try and adapt to having them. So Yeh she did come around to motherhood in her own way. Like the person below me said about her being like Lynette i agree. But all the Same everyone loves Gaby

Gabby has the same problems as Lynette has had with her children--setting boundaries. When Gabby was threatening Juanita to pick up the book, she just kept on saying "pick up the book or else". Or else what? Gabby needs to learn how to discipline and pull through on her threats.
