I Guess This Is Goodbye
Season 6 | Episode 623 | Aired 05/15/2010
Bree informs Andrew and Orson that she has no choice but to sign over her company to Sam, since he knows about Andrew's hit-and-run of Mrs. Solis. Andrew tells her not to, insisting, "Maybe it's time I paid for what I've done," but Bree won't hear of sending him to prison. That doesn't sit well with Orson, since in the exact same scenario, Bree demanded that Orson go to jail. Bree signs over the company, with the caveat that if Sam breaths a word of Andrew's accident, the deal is off. "I understand if you need to hate me," Sam says, to which Bree replies. "I don't hate you, I feel sorry for you. You'll always have a hole in your heart because you don't really care about anybody and I have a horrible feeling that no one will ever really care about you." Orson tells Bree he hoped she would do the right thing and turn her son in, but she didn't: "I'm leaving. You are not the woman I thought you were."
Patrick has Angie build a bomb for him to stop a clear-cutting operation in Oregon. He tells her she's got to come with him, to make sure the bomb's not a dud: "If the bomb doesn't go off, I'll put a bullet in your head, then come back and kill Danny." Patrick tells her he's putting the bomb in the trunk of the car while she says goodbye to Danny (who's tied to a chair in another room), but he's really hidden it in the hallway closet!
Patrick drives a few yards away and asks Angie what the range on the detonator is. He pushes the button and tells her she has 30 seconds to save Danny. She gets out of the car and starts to run -- as we watch Gaby frantically trying to untie Danny. But then Angie stops... and waves to Patrick. "It's in the detonator," she says, just before the bomb blows up the car with Patrick in it. The Bolens plan to leave town, but Danny is shocked that he's the only one taking the bus to New York. "The FBI is still looking for us," Angie explains. "We have to stop being selfish." "It's time we let you live your life," Nick says. "You can finally stop running."
