Rex Van de Kamp has a heart attack while engaging in a kinky S&M session with Maisy Gibbons. Bree dates George the pharmacist in a bid to make her hubby jealous. Just as George is about to pull the trigger on an antique gun, he goes in for a kiss. Bree pulls away causing George to shoot himself in the foot. Dating can be rough. George tampers with Rex's meds when Bree goes back to him. This leads to a fatal heart attack. Rex believes his wife is responsible for his fate and writes a note forgiving her. As for Bree, she's in shock at Rex's death. So, naturally, she cleans. The silverware never looked shinier. Then it hits her. And we mean it hits her hard. She numbly sits at her empty dining room table, looking at the chair where Rex would normally be. She slowly breaks into heartbroken sobs.
