Goodbye to You
Ian's comatose wife, Jane, takes a bad turn while he's out of town, so he asks Susan to sit with her. While she's there, Jane's best friend also visits and relates the story of how Jane cheated on Ian. He took her back but never really trusted her again. Susan realizes that's the cause of his jealousy issues and swears to devote herself anew to Ian. We all know that means never seeing Mike again, who finally gets out on bail after being arrested for Monique's murder. Ian can't make it back to be by his dying wife's side and everyone around here got a little lump in the throat when Susan put the phone to Jane's ear so he could say goodbye.
