A Marriage of Inconvenience
Susan has a wandering spleen and no insurance. Edie suggests she marry someone who is fully covered. After all, nothing says "I love you" like a good PPO plan. Karl offers to marry Susan again to make up for the way he ended their first marriage. That doesn't happen and Karl proposes to Edie, but then tells Susan he called of the wedding. He didn't, but Susan and Karl do sleep together. When Edie finds out about their affair, she burns down Susan's house. Guess things have come full circle since Susan burned down Edie's house in the Pilot. Of course, that was an accident.
