He's a Soul Man Bree was briefly engaged to pharmacist George, who tricks Bree into sending Andrew to military camp. Things don't work out, primarily because George is a whack-job. George interrupts a dinner party Bree is hosting by serenading her with karaoke version of David Soul's 1977 adult-contemporary hit "Don't Give Up On Us." Apparently, Bree isn't a fan of the tune. She calmly goes upstairs, gets her rifle and blows away his loudspeaker. Later, Bree lets George fade away after he downed a fatal dose of sleeping pills because he's the one who was truly responsible for Rex's death.
