The Miracle Song
Lynette believes Art, the man who saved her at the supermarket, may be a pedophile. This leads to a huge anti-pervert protest outside his house. Lynette is wracked with guilt when she finds out that because of the angry mob, Art's wheelchair-bound sister has had a heart attack, and ultimately dies. Art reveals that he's always had to be careful in the past. If he ever made a mistake, there would be no one to care for his sis. But now that she's dead, he's free to do whatever he wants in a new town where no one knows him. We feel as helpless as Lynette when she realizes her instincts were dead on—this guy is a monster.
