I see so many people needing help and asking for help, or just needing help and not asking. I see people from all types of situations that Extreme Home Makeover has helped, and subjects and topics they have not gotten to. I believe the show ended because the ABC ratings were down. If people are interested in getting the show back they need to contact ABC and have as many people you know do the same. ABC needs to know that people will watch the show or else the show will not be of interest to ABC. It is all about money for them. So fans if you are truly wanting them back we have to do something to let them know we can put Extreme Home Makeover a hit and more people will watch the show. ABC needs to be on top making them beat CBS, NBC Etc. Our family needed them so bad to come but in my heart I knew they wouldn't even thought I had thoughts of hope and prayers they would come. .....But, my lifetime how bad it gets and how bad your family needs help we always help others any way. So this is coming from my heart to you the readers. Get involved in some way to help others. If you are down and out and say you can't help for you need help, step up and think of some kind of way you can help. Even if you are crying inside, put a smile on your face and be kind to others. It will be so Positive for you as well as the recieving person. I hope everyone will get in a better situation, and get peace back in their life. Extreme Home Makeover will be missed and I loved the show. I know so many people who watched the show and after watching the show felt that their situation wasn't as bad as what was on the show. I also thought the show could have some episodes where the family picked wasn't so heartbreaking. That is ABC's ratings again. Don't get me wrong, ABC is good and All the networks do the same thing. Everyone wants to be on top. So if you want the show back you have to write and get people to write in and let the viewers get the show back. God Bless! Shannon Schmid-Oregon

I wonder when I'll be able to buy all 9 seasons of EM:HE on DVD? This show is such an inspiration to me. I will miss the show, the people and the adventure of EM:HE. The Cast and Crew and ALL of the volunteers have hearts as big as the Grand Canyon. The show has benefited me in ways that are too numerous to mention. So I would just like to say THANK YOU to EM:HE cast, crew, volunteers and ABC for hosting the show all these years. With all the reality shows I had watched and would like to really feel each moment of scenery is this Extreme MakeOver Home Edition. Wish you had article along with the video. My sound system on my computer is currently not working so just watching the video is not so good. I do love this show & have for years. I was also one of the watchers of the Monday night show "How Did They Do That" that went behind the scenes. Loved that also. Wished that the repeats played that summer, but they put some reality program that was worthless in its place and did not bring back the show in the fall. sigh.

With all your shows, this one & the one about SPC Lori Piestewa are truly my favorites. They both brought tears to my eyes. Thank you ABC for helping this school. It's too bad you weren't able to save the Oregon School for the Blind also.

I loved this episode, I loved the construction esp. the secret door and when you first walk in you see the door chandelier and the Harry Potter like crest up on the wall, my heart swells with such hope for these young people, i wish them all well...

I would like my mom be helped out with our house because she is a single mom and our father dosent pay child support and he's in jail my mom has been left alone with me and my brother since we were little and all we had since we were little was our grandmother and she passed away and we were left alone While my mom worked hard and then came home to take care of us me and my brother share a room it's small our house is verry old it Wus my grandmothers house we really need a makeover for our house my mom had been working verry hard in order to support us plz come and help us ]; it would mean the world.

I would like to enter my mom for an extreme makeover. She has had soo much wrong with her and can't work or even afford to get windows for their home. You can literally touch her windows and they will fall in. Her and my stepdad both have done soo much my family/grandkids. My stepdad has prostate cancer and is now developing serious heart conditions. My mom has been sick for over 20 years with Sarcodosis of the lungs, heart disease, asthma, diabetes, high blood arthiritis(No Joke, I have a list of her doctors and carry it with me). She is always sick and has had 4 stents placed in her arteries to keep her from having a massive heart attack. She has been in and out of the hospital its scary, but threw it all she is still here and I am soo thankful for that.They are both seniors( My Mom will be 66 on 10-16) and on a fixed income. My mom has 21 grandchildren and on the holidays it is very difficult for everyone to come there. She has a small 3 bd rm ranch and they are really struggling to maintain this home. Her heart is soo big she has raised and kept my nieces/nephews since they were babies with Tourette Syndrome. I feel soo bad for her because she stays stressed because she can't feel well and can't afford to repair their house. My mom has dedicated her life to taking care of my sisters kids and everyones else's. I try really hard to help my mom when I can, but I just feel she needs this blessing, becasue she always wanted a big home to fit her family and she always is giving to others and not looking after herself.

i love love love this show, tod helps so many people i alway end up with tears of happiness because he does so much, keep this show going it helps so many people when they think no ones there to help.
