Born in Seoul, Korea, and raised in Los Angeles, California, John began acting while studying English literature at the University of California, Berkeley. He toured with his first show, The Woman Warrior - an adaptation of the renowned memoir by Maxine Kingston - across the country. Other stage roles include Laertes in the Singapore Repertory Theater’s production of Hamlet and a variety of shows for East West Players. John resides in Los Angeles.
