The middle son of Louis and Jessica, Emery adapts very well after the family's move, becoming the cool, popular kid instantly. He gets a girlfriend on the first day of school and easily gets dates to neighborhood events. He is optimistic and has an easygoing, go-with-the-flow attitude.

Actor Biography

Forrest Wheeler (韋智林) knows that if you want to live the dream, it takes commitment, hard work, and determination.

Forrest has always strived for excellence in his many personal ventures, including acting, martial arts (karate, XMA, stunt), tennis, hip-hop and drumming, to name a few.

At the age of seven, Forrest turned his attention to the world of making people laugh in one of his earliest jobs, The Incredible Burt Wonderstone, by playing a Cambodian boy who is presented a rabbit as a pet and takes it home to his family for dinner!

Forrest's other roles include appearances on the hit television series Community, New Girl and Chasing Life. He also appeared in the web series Mortal Kombat: Legacy II, playing Young Kuai-Liang, and in the feature film comedy Such Good People.

Forrest's recent projects include guest starring as Prince Jin on Sofia the First, an animated Disney Jr. series, and a short film titled Power Play that will be heading toward the festival circuit.

Forrest loves his current role as Emery, the cool, romantic, and lovable middle child of the Huang family, on Fresh Off the Boat. Watch Emery transition to middle school while coping with many fun adolescent adventures with his friends and family!
