Galavant Season 2 Premiere Date Announced

The wait will soon be over, folks -- the Galavant Season 2 premiere date has been announced! Sunday, January 3 at 8|7c, the medieval musical comedy will return to ABC for more laughs, more songs, and more Galavant

Season 1 wrapped up with a moment many fans have been waiting for: a kiss between Galavant (Joshua Sasse) and Isabella (Karen David). Our knight took his sweet time in planting one on the pretty princess, so much so that it was Isabella who finally made the first move, interrupting a rambling Galavant with a surprise smooch:

Galavant Kisses Isabella|Galavant and Isabella finally share their first kiss.|Gareth (Vinnie Jones) frees King Richard (Timothy Omundson) from the dungeon and also takes Galavant (Joshua Sasse) for good measure, but not before the knight and Isabella (Karen David) finally kiss. Meanwhile, Galavant's friends remain imprisoned. From Galavant, Episode 108, "It's All In the Executions."

King Richard (Timothy Omundson) and Galavant hatched a plan to assassinate Kingsley that ultimately failed. But Madalena (Mallory Jansen) quickly grew tired of her new sire Kingsley, and she got the job done herself. With Kingsley dead and King Richard gone, the crafty queen decides to make Gareth her new king:

Madalena Murders Kingsley|Madalena stabs Kingsley in the back.|Madalena (Mallory Jansen) kills Kingsley (Rutger Hauer) by stabbing him in the back. With Kingsley and King Richard gone, she takes Gareth (Vinnie Jones) as her new man and king. From Galavant, Episode 108, "It's All In the Executions."
