Claudia appears to be obsessed with Carly's newborn daughter and prepares to leave the cabin with baby Josslyn in tow. Michael's protective instincts kick in when he finds Claudia and Carly at the cabin. He bashes Claudia with a tire iron, killing her.

Jason takes control of the situation when he and Sam arrive on the scene. He has Sam take Carly and the baby to the hospital, has Sonny take an unemotional Michael home, and he, Max, and Milo bury Claudia's body.

I hate Claudia, but to make the story line more interesting, she should have stayed on a little longer to cause more chaos. I also wish Michael had gone to the police. I wanted to see her squirm more after Sonny found out. She will probably be back. Eventhough they burned the house where she was unconscious, the audience did not see the body on fire. Story line will be she escaped the fire and someone found her and nursed her back to health.

I would have had her drive Carly to the hospitol then try to "dissappear" and get cought by detectives, and pay for what she has done, or go into protective custody for a while.

The didn't have to kill her! Knowing Claudia, she probably woke up and crawled out the grave! I would love to see Claudia come back and pay for her crimes, have Sonny fall in love with her, and have the family that both of them deserve. What do you think?

Yes... If it's the song that has been playing up until the closing credits leading up to that day, I think it's called Mad World. It is a popular song that I believe they've used in a few movies and tv shows such as Without A Trace. The song portrays a very sad person, possibly in a state of depression, with a very bleak outlook on the world. Tears for Fears first sang it circa 80s/90s with an upbeat tempo. Adam Lambert had a much better take on those lyrics. I did not get to see the show that day, and it was more than 5 episodes back on abc.com; however, I did get to see it on you tube. The song was copywrited. So, the person that posted the November 4, 2009 clip had to mute the music as it was playing. Although, the way Claudia died was certainly contingent with the way she lived, she did not deserve to die like that. She was a person with feelings, and I think the writers were trying to convey that as well throughout her saga on General Hospital. The actress (Sara Brown is it?) that played Claudia Zacchara was the original Carly if I remember correctly. Her death changes the entire mood of the show from lighthearted to somber. It is sad to see what Michael is becoming. I had also hoped he would go to the police. I can't wait to see James Franco act on GH. He is one of my favorite actors.

It has been driving me crazy cause I know I have heard it before and always liked it, but can't remember what it was from. I am thinking a movie. Been searching and you are the only other one I have found that is wondering the same question!

No way...I hate that she left the show...killed by a bat...she need to go out with a bigger bang...not killed by a kid...she was soooo worth watching...It would have been interesting to see her take on Sonny and really show him what and idiot he is for acting self righteous when he has done way worse...She should have had the chance to call him on all his crap!

Am sad to see her character go, but she got what she deserved. Don't like how they are covering up what happened though. What Michael did was justifiable homicide. Claudia tried to kill his father, instead putting Michael in a coma for a year, sent Jerry after him again to kill him and took his pregnant mother hostage. To cover it up is silly. In the real world, he would not be in trouble for what he did, and now with all of the evidence gone, it's just going to make it worse when the truth comes out.

Claudia was too important to kill off. And I don't think she is really dead. Yes, she got whacked pretty good and was buried. But as you saw... someone was watching. Who is to say that someone, whoever it was didn't go dig her up to find that she had a faint pulse and nurses her back to health? Can you just imagine Claudia showing up at Sonny's birthday party or walking into one of her co-actresses home and catching them unaware? That would be chilling!

LOL Bringing people back to life after formidable circumstances like that only happens on other soaps. General Hospital is fictional, but they at least try to keep some sort of hold over what is reality and what is not. Yes Claudia was vital in the way that it brought Sonny back into the Mob, and served as a catalyst for Michael getting better. And who knows? James' Franco's character might fulfill the void Claudia's death left.

I't was definetly unexpected! Micheal. I don't think they should have covered it up, it was self defense... that's what Diane is there for! I felt that Claudia should have disapeared and shown up later, you know like all the villians do, Faith showed up who knows how many times, not to mention Jerry Jax, & Helena comes in all the time. They could have sent Dominic to kill her & he could have let her go just like he did the other guy!

i like how claudia was killed off.it's ironic in a way.i just don't think the writers should ster michael in the direction of crime.i mean we all know that aj never went to the mob life and i don't think that michael should either,unless the writers are going to put a spin on things and jason ends up being michael's real father.in away that would be fitting cause i think that the actor playing michael looks a whole lot like that actor playing jason.just a thought writers.

While I think it was defense of his sister and mother.. .he did come in swinging without any clue he looked in the window.. so not so clear cut if he did it for them or for himself. What I didn't like was how happy Carly looked when she got her baby back while Michael stared at the dead body... She didn't even seem to realize what happened at first til Jason went to him and told him to go to his mom and sister... I loved the line when he said "I have blood on my hands!" it was such a double meaning

I think the writers are messing up the story. It is ridiculous. Ok fine Michael killed Claudia. It was self defense and defending his mother and sister. But making him into a criminal is outrageous. I don't understand the attraction to the continuation of the mob stories. I understand why they would want Michael to continue in Sonny's footsteps but as a killer. NO. It is very stupid to make Michael a killer who learns to cover up his crime. I agree with Jax, Carly must help Michael be a normal kid and face his actions, not cover them up and be a criminal. I'm sorry GH writers. This is stupid. I'm gonna have to turn off GH for now. Cannot waste my time watching this crap. I'm glad the actress that played Claudia decided to move on. GH is becoming more ridiculous everyday. PS: Good to bring back original Lucky, hopefully this whole Elizabeth Nikolas hook up will be put to an end.

I don't think it should of been Michael who kill her. Now he has to carry that for the rest of his life. Remember, Claudia didn't put the hit on Michael, it was intended for Sonny. I wish they would of let her leave into the woods and then come back in few years for revenge. I really like Sarah Brown, she will be missed. Now Johnny has to get his revenge and the circle continues.

I agree! Sarah Brown is such a great actress! In my opinion, she was the PERFECT person to play Claudia! Now, we all know that Johnny is going to avenge his sister's death and continue the vicious cycle of revenge! I hate to see this happen because I've finally grown to like Johnny!

I'm a huge sarah brown fan, when i heard she was coming back i thought it would be to play Carly again, glad she didn't i'm used to the Carly now, I dont think Johnny will seak revenge, he was getting tired of his sisters crap, but it is a soap. Even though she didn't put the hit out on Micheal, she tried to kill his dad, but hey just like Jason, Micheal is and hasn't been the same since the head injury and coma. Maybe he will fill Jason's shoes some day?

It was perfect. Not long drawn out, exciting, much suspense. Sonny and Jason are my favorite. They were GREAT!!! I'm glad I didn't miss this. It's going to be interesting to see how Johnny and Anthony react to Claudia being dead.

I think it was a wonderfully crafted and acted show. All the actors did wonderful jobs and for once, there was real meaning and understanding behind the writing. The way things happened made sense and the people who were there...Carly, Michael, Jason, Sam, Sonny were the ones and the ONLY ones who should have been involved. This was a Corinthos family tragedy/story and what started with Michael's shooting, ended (for now) with Michael being at the center and his family reunited in his cause, if only for that. Finally GH has gotten back to what's important in story telling and that is FAMILY and the families that we have known and loved for years, instead of new ones thrown at us with no real onscreen history to back them up.

I really believe the writing for this scenario was excellent. It held much suspense and held my attention. Im very glad that they did not make it into a long drawn murder mystery and that Micheal was the one the killed her because Jason thought he would be the one. Though I wish Sarah Brown's reign as Claudia did not come to an end, she is a very talented actress and bought a lot to the show. I absolutely loved her character and will greatly miss seeing her. She was not evil in my opinion. She was just a real person who was anything but perfect. (Years ago when the Sam watching the kidnapping of Jake saga was playing out Sam had made a good point. How come Sonny and his "crew" get the forgive and forget card?) I cannot fathom why Sonny and Jason were so fixed on playing the blame game when as Jax says: Sonny is the cause to the effect. Yet, the scenes with Jason/Sonny/Micheal were played well. I am eager to see how this changes Sonny because he really needs to improve as a person and father. In the part where Sonny and Micheal were in the car and Micheal explained to Sonny how he was just like him I think Sonny looked at micheal and realized that he was looking into a mirror. As Sonny has always tried to play God, I think he is begining to see that what goes around, comes around.

I think the acting was just amazing , the scenes with Sonny at the party were great scenes & then their was Carly who had just given birth at a cabin & now that baby was going to be taken away from her by a nutcase & at that very moment in time the look on Carly’s face said all that was needed to be said , their was no way that Carly could of ever predicted that before psychotic Claudia would get a chance to leave that cabin with the baby that her very own son Michael would come through that door.Claudia’s reign of destruction & manipulation has come to an end.

i thought it was done great! Michael saving his mom and baby sister was something that he needed to do. and commiting a murder in the process is a great way to lead him into his fathers life style. i think Claudia got what she deserved. but Carly is suppossed to be the strong type. i do think she should have fought against Claudia taking her baby. even after giving birth she should have moved more trying to get her baby back! but other than that it was done very well!

I think Michael killing Claudia is poetic justice, you live by the sword, you die by the sword. And the fact that Michael was the one to actually give back to Claudia what she almost gave to him, is perfect. Although, as we all know in soap land never be so quick to write off a person, look at Mitch on OLTL he has risen from the dead. I think we have not seen the last of Claudia, keep in mind that at first they were going to burn the body but decided to bury her instead also there is a mystery person watching. Don't be surprised if that person digs up the body and realizes that she was not dead but in a deep coma and actually helps her with her healing... You never know what the writers comes up with. That being said I did not like Claudia but I did enjoy her acting skills while on the show. mzann

I've been watching GH for almost 25 years, since I was a teen. GH's writing is now confusing the hell out of me. THIS ENDING WAS STUPID. Turning a young boy into a killer, like his father is stupid. His sister killed the woman's baby, and he kills the woman? I'm disgusted with the show!!

What do you think? I liked Claudia, but I did not like the fact that she was married to Sonny. I think that the only one for Sonny is Carly. I like the fact that she can no longer hurt anyone, but I hate the fact that a teenage boy was reduced to killing her.

im very happy to see the end of Claudia, Sarah Brown did such a great job with the character, and she will be missed, but the writers of GH have a way of writing a soap that you just get addicted to. Its kind of classic, with a twist, seeing micheal acting more like Jason after his injury to the head, makes you wonder if Micheal will end up the same as Jason working with Sonny? After this you never know.

I loved it!! It was great and I loved the Michael/Jason/Sonny parts of it!!! I like that this is going to be the make or break moment of Michael becoming a mobster or not with how he handles what he did. ( I thought it was a little weird how before anyone even reacted to what michael did they had a bonding moment of Carly and the baby) I hope this opens up the doors to a Carson reunion ( Sonny and Carly) Jax has told WAY to many lies and secrets lately and the only thing I didnt like about todays episode was how Carly was happy to see Jax. She HEARD that he knew about Jerry and Claudia...she should be LIVID.. she better leave him after all this Dante stuff comes out!!!

I think that it was a shocking way to take her out. I was amazed that it turned out to be Micheal who finally took the last shot to take her out and he did. It was a shock to me, but I thought it was a great show and a memoable one.

personally i think it was a little harsh. im glad sonny outed her. i think she should have been arrested and sent to the same crazy house for prisioners like her father. later on have her escape from prision and come back to get revenge (by this time she is crazy) sort of like crazy janet from all my children how she kept comming back. it would be interesting to have a story line along these lines

I kind of had a feeling Michael would do it. It's about time!!!! Ding dong the witch is dead!!!!!!! I liked her exit because if she would of just disappeared, she could come back & taunt everyone again. Sara Brown's character was awesome though. She played a very good psycho. She will be missed. Now we need to keep her gone, no coming back from the dead!!!!! LOL!!!!! :) Hopefully the Dante/Dominic & Sonny thing comes to an end here soon too then we can get on w/ the Cassadine/Spencer story line............Just keeps getting better. Great job staff & the actors & actress's of GH!!!!!!! LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!!
