#1 Mer-Der – Scalpels from the 1860s

In "Dark Was the Night," Derek was bidding online for some scalpels from the 1860s to give to Meredith. He dropped out of the auction to comfort his wife after the adoption counselor called with less-than-good news. We thought it would be nice to get Mer-Der those scalpels even though the only thing they'd ever truly want for Christmas is baby Zola.
