Arizona married Dr. Callie Torres in a beautiful wedding, which was officiated by Dr. Miranda Bailey. Prior to her relationship with Callie, Arizona dated a few hospital employees. After spending a lot of time with Dr. Lauren Boswell on a special case, Arizona sleeps with her. 

Arizona and Callie's happy family has now expanded – after the couple welcomed a gorgeous baby girl, Sofia, into their lives.

Arizona lost a leg because of injuries sustained in a plane crash.

Doesn’t if feel like Jessica Capshaw has been on Grey’s Anatomy since the beginning? The truth is she came along in Season 5 as our favorite pediatric surgeon, Dr. Arizona Robbins. And, thankfully, she’s here to stay!

Jessica’s past television credits include The Practice, The L Word and Bones. In 2005, she starred in the TNT miniseries Into the West, with Keri Russell and Josh Brolin. She also starred on the big screen opposite Ed Burns and Brittany Murphy in The Groomsmen.

Jessica earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature at Brown University, and also starred in many of the University’s productions. She took advantage of her summer breaks by attending the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts Summer Program in London, where she starred as “Puck” in a production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Armed with an Ivy League education and insatiable ambition, Jessica pursued her dream of becoming an actress.

She currently resides in Los Angeles with her hubby, Christopher Gavigan, and their two year-old son, Luke.
