Alex tells him that he and Izzie are back together. Izzie convinces him that he needs to stay with her in the hospital. Cristina is stuck babysitting for Bailey's baby, and George and Callie further their flirtations over a teenaged patient who decides to chop off his own finger after Callie refuses to do it for him. Burke shows a preference for living with George over Cristina, and Addison gets a long awaited admonition from Derek that shows some hope for their marriage after all.
