Callie breaks the first rule of the ER—never, ever say it’s “slow.” CUE THE PHONE. A semi has rammed into a bunch of graduation-bound college students. Now they’re bounding into Seattle Grace. It’s bad. George is crushed when every one of his patients dies. When Owen’s patient survives, he tells George that his assist helped save his patient. “Trauma’s a team sport. You don’t have to be a hero, you just have to go where you’re needed.” Nice, Owen. Very nice.
On the Seattle Grace relationship front, Owen tells Cristina his therapy is going well. He tries to take her hand but she pulls away. And Callie finally fesses up to Arizona that she’s broke. Arizona doesn’t care. Who needs pricey restaurants? They’ll just stay in with sandwiches.
