Like we said, the big day is here. Only the Mer-Der marriage will have to wait. Izzie is the only beautiful bride in the church today. Cristina is her maid-of-honor. Meredith is Alex’s best man. But Izzie is weak. She can’t make it alone. George leaps into action to walk her down the aisle. Again, chills! Simply describing the ceremony won’t do it justice. So we’re not even going to try. You just have to see it! And when you do, you won’t be able to hold back the tears. Well, we couldn’t.

Back at the hospital, Izzie is upset by her hair loss. Alex says she’ll still be beautiful even when she’s bald. Alex leaves to get some champagne. Izzie talks to Denny one more time. When Alex returns, she tells Denny, "Go away. I want to be alone with my husband." She takes off her scarf to reveal her newly shaved head. "My wife is hot," Alex says proudly. She sure is.
