Season 2:

- Derek moved to Seattle because Addison cheated on him with his best friend. Meredith is hurt Derek didn't tell her and decides to break off their relationship. Good luck with that!

- A back and forth starts between Derek and Meredith. First he wants her back, but she spurns his advances. Then Meredith wants him back, but he's still in love with Addison. This goes on for some time until Derek picks Addison.

- Even though she still has feelings for McDreamy, Meredith has a strong of one-night stands, including a doe-eyed co-worker named George. Understandably Derek is not happy with Meredith's new promiscuous ways because he still harbors feelings for her.

- Finn, a man Meredith has a crush on, starts to become a real contender as her new significant other.
