Susan Grey
Susan Grey was the second wife of Meredith's dad, Thatcher Grey. One could argue that without this woman's determination to get her to form a relationship with her father, Meredith never would have gotten so close to half-sis Lexie. Tragically, Susan died after a rare complication that came during an attempt to cure her hiccups.
