Kaitlyn Dever is one of Hollywood's fastest rising young talents. From work with the likes of Clint Eastwood to Diane Lane, she has steadily proven that she is one to watch, and at the age of 16 she already has some impressive film and television credits.

Dever will soon be seen showcasing her versatility in the films "The Spectacular Now" and "Short Term 12." "Short Term 12" premiered at SXSW 2013, where it won the Grand Jury Prize for Best Narrative as well as the Audience Award. Dever herself was labeled the summer's indie IT girl and was highlighted as an SXSW breakout.

Next she will play a supporting role in the feature film "Laggies," opposite Chloe Grace Moretz and Keira Knightly, set for release in 2014. She also shot the lead in the upcoming indie drama "Grass Stains."

Dever knew she wanted to act at just five years old. Her parents enrolled her in gymnastics, ballet and skating, but her passion didn't lie with any of these activities. At age nine she enrolled at the Dallas Young Actors Studio. During a talent showcase held in the area for Hollywood agents, she was chosen by and signed immediately with a respected talent agent. Shortly thereafter she was booking commercials and on her way in her young career.

In 2012 Dever wrapped her memorable two-season arc as Loretta McCready on the FX drama "Justified," for which she received critical acclaim. She appeared in the HBO movie "Cinema Verite" with Diane Lane, Tim Robbins and James Gandolfini, and played a lead role in the 2009 HBO movie, "An American Girl: Chrissa Stands Strong." On the Starz comedy "Party Down" she played Megan Mullally's daughter, and later guest starred on the 2011 season premiere of the Emmy-winning HBO series "Curb Your Enthusiasm." She also has starred in episodes of "The Mentalist," "Modern Family" and "Private Practice."

Dever's film credits include Cameron Diaz's comedy "Bad Teacher" and "J. Edgar," with Leonardo DiCaprio and directed by Academy Award-winning director Clint Eastwood. In 2012 Dever was nominated three times at the 33rd Young Artist Awards for her roles in "Bad Teacher," "Last Man Standing" and "Justified."
