Black Rock dynamite sticks and fuse reels used by Richard to try and kill himself No longer believing his life has any purpose following Jacob's death, Richard haphazardly starts handling some Black Rock dynamite and tries to kill himself. He tells Jack that he has made the fuse long enough to give Jack plenty of time to get out once lit. Jack remains and covinces Richard that there is still a reason they are both on the Island. Seen in the episode, "Dr. Linus."
