Actor Bio

Though a later addition to the cast of Lost, this magnetic New York-trained actor quickly became one of our favorites to watch each week.

Ken Leung was raised in the Two Bridges section of the Lower East Side in New York City. He attended NYU as a University Scholar and studied acting with Catherine Russell and Nancy Smithner, then with Anne Jackson at HB Studio. He acted mostly in downtown spaces and black boxes, dropping anchor with groups such as Ma-Yi, New Perspectives and STAR—a traveling troupe of actors-educators based in Mt. Sinai Hospital.

In 1997, Brett Ratner cast Leung in Rush Hour, which led to a role in Edward Norton's directorial debut, Keeping the Faith. Additional film credits include Ratner's Red Dragon and X-Men: The Last Stand, Spike Lee's Sucker Free City and Inside Man, Vanilla Sky, Spy Game, A.I. Artificial Intelligence and Saw.

Leung's television credits include a recurring role on Law & Order and guest appearances on The Sopranos, Oz, Wonderland, The Jury and Whoopi. He made his Broadway debut in the Tony Award winning musical, Thoroughly Modern Millie.

While filming Lost, Leung divides his time between New York and Hawaii.
