Character Bio

OFF THE ISLAND: Rescued from the island as part of the Oceanic 6 and blamed Ben for the assumed death of Jin.

RETURN TO THE ISLAND: A crash survivor of Ajira Airways Flight 316 in the present time. Nominated as a candidate to take over Jacob's job as protector of the island.

Reunited with Jin after an epic journey across oceans, the island and even time. Sun returned his wedding ring to him, but they were double-crossed by Locke when they thought he was helping them leave the island. After the explosion on Widmore's submarine, Sun was trapped behind a heavy cabinet. Unable to free her before the cabin filled with water, Sun tried to make Jin leave. However, Jin stayed with her, promising he'd never leave her again. They drowned holding each other's hand.

Actor Bio

With an internationally-acclaimed acting career and looks that have been recognized by some of the hottest magazines on stands, it was a no-brainer that we'd fall hard for this skilled beauty.

An accomplished actress who has already made a name for herself in Korea—and all over Asia with the film Shiri—Yunjin Kim has made her mark on American television with Lost.

Kim was bashful as a kid, so she decided to get over her shyness by taking drama classes in the seventh grade. She was immediately cast in a musical and fell in love with the theatre.

Her Korean feature film credits include starring roles in Ardor, Yesterday, Iron Palm, Ginko Bed 2, Diary of June and the Japanese film Rush, as well as roles in the television weekend dramas With Love and Wedding Dress and the miniseries Hunch and Beautiful Vacation. She also guest hosted on ABC's The View. She has also appeared in the production of the Margaret Cho directed comedy, Two Sisters, and the Korean crime thriller, Seven Days.

Kim was the Goodwill Ambassador for the 2002 World Cup in Japan and Korea, representing Korea. While born in Seoul, Korea, she grew up in Staten Island, New York. She attended the prestigious High School of Performing Arts in New York and received her BFA in acting from Boston University.
