I definitely think Sun will have no choice but to reveal her knowledge of English during the interrogations. The main question is will it be in front of Jin or in a private room. Or maybe she will think it will be private, but he will be watching through a see through mirror. Claire looked really stressed when she saw the gun, so early labor is highly probable.

When will the new episode be available to watch on-line ? It's windy here today and I may not be able to get reception on the TV to watch it - - - When will I be able to watch on-line. Tues 2-9-2010.

I think that Kate ended up in the tree safely because it grew up under her so to speak. The place she was standing in when the "blast" happened may not have had a tree but 30 years later it was all grown up.

sayid is dead i think.. and the island has never brought back anyone to life.. so i think jacob is somehow controlling sayid's body when he wakes up...

but in season one claire did not feel the baby move move until instantly after she ate fresh water fish caught by Jin on the island. so maybe the island water has healing properties.

I think the island is a prison for the smoke monster and Jacob was the guard.

Hey, what do you mean where did i take my opinion? 10 for sure could be arbitrary but I think when the show is all said and done, we will be able to watch it from end to start and it will make alot more sense. That why i feel like Aaron is Jacob and was technically the 1st born (going reverse order) and why having children on the isalnd hasnt worked out so well. I can totally see Jacob and Aaron as seperate people but there will be a weird time twisitng relation between the 2 I think. I dont even know if my post makes sense- Lost has be talking in circles alot of the time

The others were surprised that Locke was alive, and they looked surprised that Sayid was alive so I was thinking the same thing.

I agree with you, when I watched the last episode, I started to believe that Jacob is Aaron, and he can control the time in the island, that´s is the reason he is a middle-age person, he has the key to end up with this story...

I don´t agree with you, I think Jack represented a single person, who is a normal life, he has a respectful job like a doctor, he hasn´t trouble in his normal live, he only wants to leave the island, but I suppose that his live won´t be the same since the moment he took this plane years ago. He act like one of us will act, this is why his characters don´t change during the episodes pass. Jack will pay the most expensive price cause of he took this plane... he will be a looser, he will became crazy...

The theory stated above got me thinking about the importance of EVERYONE going back to the island to change the crash of 815. Maybe the people who didn't return to the island have the ability to change it once again -- and that loophole was known to whomever was rounding up the group.

lassie22002

I would like to add Flocke, has many different meanings. You can spell it as "FLOC" which means clumps of bacteria and particulate impurities that have come togethe an dformed a cluster. found in flocculation tanks and settling or sedimentations basins. Just a thought.

Totally agree. Every time someone dies, anyone, random extras included, I always think "quick Miles! Talk to them!" But he never does :( I feel the same way about Aaron and Walt, in that such a big deal was made over the two of them, and NOTHING has been said about either in a looong time.

TimeTraveller815

Jesus had 12 disciples and sat in the middle of DaVinci's 'Last Supper' depiction. Flocke is sort of in the middle .. but there are 13 (disciples?) 6 to his right and 7 to his left.

" I’ve never seen an airplane lavatory door that opened “in” before Oceanic 815. Sayid sure got lucky when he was doing his Charlie rescue" Actually I think they all do open to the inside. They are usually french doors that fan to the inside leaving no room for a person to stay inside.

When Jack finally showed some humility in allowing Hurley to take charge. Food for thought:, #1-Why would Jacob need Sayid to die in order to take over his body for reincarnation purposes when the Man in Black is able to emulate John Locke even though John's body is still laying on the beach? Is F-Locke evidence that Jacob and MIB can appear as anyone they wish while still alive? #2-Assuming the plane in LAX 1&2 is flying over the Island along original timeline (BIG Assumption!) Desmond should be in the hatch inputing numbers at the same time as he appears on the plane, therefore is it possible that Jacob or MIB is sitting alongside Jack pretending to be Desmond? #3-I also agree with other posters that Richard was a companion at one time of Jacob and MIB, and I think that MIB took Richard with him because in order to change realities and allow MIB to go home, everyone that was present at the inception of the current timeline must be present in order to go back and change it, just like it was so important that EVERYONE return to the Island when the Oceanic 6 tried to go back.

jlambertchicago

FYI - It is very possible for Desmond to be on the plane and he would not be pushing the button because the hydrogen bomb destroyed the electromagnetic leak that was the cause for the hatch to be built and Desmond pushing the button in the first place. Also the island is now underwater as a result of the hydrogen bomb so Desmond could never arrive there. I guess the only explanation is that he decided not to enter Whitmore's boat race which would have left him stranded at least somewhere (since the island now is underwater), or he did enter the race and was stranded but Penny found him since there was no hidden idalnd for him to be stranded upon. My overall theory for the two dimensions (LAX no crash vs. LAX crash on island) existing together is that although on the island they think it didn't work, it actually did work (as deceased Juliette told Miles who told Sawyer in the premiere of this season) but that does not change who they are in their present. So now there are two "presents" existing - the survivors stuck in time in 2007 and the survivors on the LAX plane that never crashed in 2003. Both groups of surviviors from their own present are unaware of the other. So in essence they changed the future while in the 1970s by triggering the hydrogen bomb so that no electromagnetism existed for Desmond to have to contain by pushing a button. That event propelled them back into the present (2007) but the future they changed is now their past (LAX that never crashed in 2003) that exists in 2003 while they are now seperate beings unaware that their past selves (2003 survivors that never crashed) are living an alternate reality separate from themselves. It is like traveling back in time to see yourself. You are seeing a past that happened even though you are in your own present while in the past. If that past changes I believe the writers are saying that your present will still remain the same resulting in two selves existing side by side in time or in the case of the Oceanic survivors existing side by side in 2 different times. I hope it makes sense. Please anyone help me to better explain this theory if you have a clue what I am talking about.

The brilliance of the writers : I think most of us expected season 6 to go forward or backwards - so what did the writers do to fool us once again, keep us on our toes? They took us SIDEWAYS. In the flashsideways we see Desmond on the plain, but why? Yes I know he can't forget to push the button down in the hatch because it's no more.. But wouldn't he still be on the island? I can't remember exactly how he came to the island in first place, but wasn't it because of some storm that he went through while sailing his boat? I don't see how the hatch implosion makes Desmond stay away from the island, unless it was the hatch that made him go there in the first place. Does anybody have an answer to this?

jlambertchicago

He may have been saved by Penny since there was no island for him to be stranded on. Remember she had been searching for him before the LAX flight even took off.

I think that the detonation of Jughead has not changed the future in regard of the plane's crash (if it had, Jake, Kate, Sawyer, Sayid, Hurley, Jin, Miles and Juliet should not have been transported back to the future because this future would no longer exist) but has initiated a new cycle of events that begins with the Jacob's reincarnation through Sayid that will allow Jacob to pursue his fight against his enemy with the help of the losties and finally lead to the restoration of the original timeline where the plane does not crash and cause the island to sink after all the lost souls (including the ones of Jacob and his enemy cursed by egyptian gods) captive on the island will be free and return home. Then, the alternative timeline will simply cease to exist to be replaced by the original one we saw. I think that Jacob and his enemy are much alike and both want to go home. But my guess is that the castaways, the Others, Jacob and his enemy will have to ally themselves instead of fighting to break the curse and win their freedom.

This is my thought: I think we found one of the biggest clue in the entire LOST seasons. Now we know that Locke is the 'Black Smoke'. It means that Locke can transform to anything! That is why we see so many death people in the island in all the previous seasons which was discovered by the people in the island. Example, Christian (Jack's father), Ana Lucia etc and even the polar bear. All this is ONE UNKNOWN IDENTITY which is now currently transforms as Locke. As long the person is dead, this ONE UNKNOWN IDENTITY has the power to transform and mimic. Maybe this UNKNOWN is the men in black. I also think that there are TWO MOST POWERFUL FORCES in the island. Why? If you take a closer look on the Tawaret statue, the statue holds two ankhs. I think this TWO MOST POWERFUL FORCES maybe the men in black and Jacob, but this is still encrypted and we will only know who exactly Jacob and men in black is in the later episode! If you remember, Jacob gave a guitar casing to Hurley which was an ankh inside! About the island we saw which was sunk, this is because the island have a very powerful characteristic, which it can move around and change its geographical location as well as sink inside the water (I think). So, this happen after what is happening now and the flight to LA was totally another new scene which is not as what we are thinking that if the plane does not crash this is what will happen! Because there was no Desmond in flight Oceanic 815, no Waltz, no Shannon, no Sayid etc! Just a theory. What you guys think? Cheers!

I think the scense from the airplane are what would have happened. And all of the passengers were going to eventually meet in their lives if the plane never crashed. Like sawyer helping Kate in the elevator with the airport police. And jack with the black and white couple, then seeing locke when he leaves the airport and then saving charlie. Then kate getting into the car with claire. All of there lives are going to cross. I do think that Jack has or will learn something in the later episodes. As for the island being underwater is beyond me. Maybe the bomb destroyed the possibility to ever go onto the island and everyone that ever went onto the island has an alternative life. That goes for ben, whitmore, the chinese scientest guy. As far as everyone being on the island. I think it put all the islanders back in the same timeline (the present) and they will eventually see eachother again. And locke is the anti jacob and trying to take over the island. Because when jacob talks to that grey haired guy about the people 1st coming to the island on the old looking sail boat. (christopher columbus looking boat). And the grey haired guy says he is going to kill jacob one day. and he used lockes body to somehow get back to life and get to the island. Im a new blogger so tell me if im totally "lost" in this season of lost. I think its a pretty good theory. Thats just what me and my dad think.

What about Shannon?! I undestand how actors sometimes refuse to come back to a show for guest spots, but not only was she not there, Boone had mentioned how he went to rescue his sister, but she did not want to be rescued. That's blatentely re-writting history. :P

We're about to see it here in Australia. But here are my hopes...in my open letter to LOST writers. I remember Stephen King's IT. It was scary and awesome – in the full meaning of the term, it filled me with awe, but the ending, the ending was awful. Some powerful malevolence and a very intimidating clown afflicted an entire town, every 30 years, and it was all down to a SPIDER. Come on. It was a terrible let down and not just in terms of the unspecial 1990s effects. Similarly, the throw away line that revealed the oft referenced FORCE of Star Wars to be not some mystical insight into life, but a cellular thing – midichlorians sounding like metachlorians - but there was nothing meta about them. It debased the entire Jedi mythos and put it down to a fluke of biology. Why, why ruin the mystery? And if you must reveal the mystery, make it BIG and revelatory. In a different way, satisfaction has been denied after years of patience with the X Files, with fans no closer to the truth, which is still out there, more illusive than ever since their disappointing second film. But LAME answers aren’t enough either, viewers are over the exceedingly over-used JR Ewing plot device - the I dreamed it all/I was in a coma/I was high on drugs route of soap operas. We viewers demand writers work harder for us. We’re grown ups, you’ve made us feel and we want it to matter. Make us wonder, give us something profound and liberating, or dark and truthsome. So much of life happens and there is no meaning, so every now again, the story makers in TV land offer us some, and we latch on, which is why we crave something memorable for the final series and final episode. Viewers know everything must end, but in TV Land, we want it to make a mark, be a bang, not a whimper. And not in some half ridiculous way like Seinfeld. We need something to make us thankyou for making it, even as we mourn its passing. It’s because the stories television programs and films relate are like friends, they become familiar, offer us a kind of certainty (of a laugh, of a scare, of pleasure) and their ending should offer us something as well, because we are loyal, we have watched and waited (sometimes for years). We want finales that give closure – that see something end – like in MASH. There are some who know this, Joss Whedon, for one, is a master. In Buffy, the finale gave us epic battles, heroic deaths and what the main character had wanted her entire life, how cool was that? Similarly Russell T Davies in Torchwood, in its most recent incarnation, provided one grand five-part finale, with sacrifice, complex villains, death and destruction, and the tiniest hope of another season. The other option, valued Lost writers, is if you cannot give us a fitting ending, then don’t give us one at all. Monkey Magic didn’t, (well at least not in the 39 dubbed episodes available to the English speaking world back in the day – please look it up if you are not familiar with the program) and no one minded, because the journey to the Buddha is within and is never ended. Tripitaka kept going and the passengers of Lost can too, if you want, just make it be towards something we can care about, something glittery and shining on that island’s horizon, something we all could want. It’s all down to you and may the force be with you.

  5. 5. Emilie de Ravin (Claire) The cast together, like golfing in "Solitary"
  1. 1. The Constant Desmond's love story across time
  2. 2. Through the Looking Glass Charlie makes the ultimate sacrifice
