All of those who dislike this fiction documentary, using late '70's early '80's video editing and music, must not have been around during that time period. Back then many TV shows, News shows, documentaries and live footage, were edited like this and had forboding, amusing or gloomy music, using the keyboard and synthesizers was all the rave back then(it sounded absolutely horrible), and the editing was poor, they never did retakes or practice takes, so the quality of the interview usually wasn't top of the line, as you see in this video with the actors recreating this effect. This was just the way it was and the producers of these shorts have done a great job creating a documentary of that time period.

the college campus they show thtat is "just outside of las vegas nevada" is in reality the university of washington, i just took a tour of the UW yesterday and i recognize the square with the cherry trees... i just think its a very funny choice to represtent a southwest college to use a campus located in the far northwest. lol YAY SEATTLE

Kind of hokey Rod Serling impression. I'd say a nice idea, but a little tedious in execution.

These videos are fake , you can notice that the missing teacher Olivia is the woman that was with Horace in the 20th episode of Season 3 of Lost when Emilie gave birth to Ben then died. In fact the picture of Olivia shown in the documentary was taken from that episode that I mentioned and of Course with some modifications to make it look like if it was really a picture from the 70s.

Of course it's fake. It's sci fi. Are you like one of those people who goes on picture websites and posts "Obviously photoshopped" as if anybody didn't already know that?

It is fake it is a documentary if the dharma was real. Whoever thought to add this video was a genius and it makes the show so much better

Hate to say it, but this reminds me of a really bad episode of "In Search Of" with Leonar Nimoy.

I think they could've gotten better actors for this, any attempt to make it a little more realistic would be nice

Yea i noticed that with the woman's father who was interviewed but it made it seem more real cause no actor would have acted like that.

come again? from my perspective the acting performance in this show is an outstanding display of excellence. i have no idea what coffee you have been drinking, but you're off your rocker.

Actually, I think the acting is right on the mark. They are doing it in the style of a 1970s mystery documentary show. This is exactly how they were edited and produced. Lots of stock imagery loaded with sinister meaning, and reenactments with creepy music over top. Yup, I'd say they nailed it.

Totally agree. In the second video, Olivia's father is over acting so much that it really takes you out of the moment. But everything else is pretty cool. The narrator is awesome.
