Desmond's photograph with Penny at the Marina
A slightly distressed and folded version of Desmond's color photograph of himself and Penny taken in London, with a backdrop screen of the Ala Wai Yacht Harbor in Honolulu. It is this photograph along with Penny's letter that Desmond desperately clutches for inspiration--to survive his ordeals both on and off the Island--and for the hope of one day reuniting with Penny. Penny also has a copy of the same photo.
