You're Dead to Me
Desmond has been having premonitions that usually come true. This becomes evident when he swims out into the ocean to rescue a drowning Claire. Flashbacks show us that Desmond was in love with a woman named Penny. She has a powerful father named Charles Widmore who does not approve of our man Des. When Charlie questions Desmond about his visions, he isn't prepared for the answer. It appears that Charlie is destined to die.
