With Faraday dead, Jack realizes that he must detonate the bomb to destroy the island's energy. Not everyone is on board with this plan. If Oceanic 815 never crashes, none of our friends will ever meet. There's a frantic shootout at the construction site where they must drop the bomb into the center of the island. When order is restored, Jack holds the bomb in his hand. He looks to his friends for confirmation that he's doing the right thing. Juliet, Sawyer and finally Kate all give him a heartbreaking nod. Jack drops the bomb.
