Love Slips Away
The bomb travels many, many feet down the shaft deep into the island's underground. But it doesn't detonate. The island's electromagnetic force is powerful and erratic. When everything metal starts sliding toward the hole, Juliet is caught in some chains and sucked into the opening. Sawyer clutches her hand. He won't let go. He'll never let go. But Juliet knows that he won't be able to save her. She looks into his eyes and simply says, "I love you, James." Her fingers slip free and Juliet disappears down the hole.
