The confident and charismatic Sergeant Mark Cross is the team's new hands-on boss. He and Angie share a mysterious and strained connection, one she would prefer to leave in the past. This adds another level of tension to every pressure-filled homicide case. Cross takes a liking to Lucas from the get-go and makes it clear to everyone on the team that he's in charge now.


Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Warren Christie spent most of his childhood in London, Ontario. It was during his years playing college football that Christie developed his love for performing and decided to pursue it as a career.

On the big screen, Christie starred in the Weinstein Company's Apollo 18, and shortly thereafter he went on to play opposite Reese Witherspoon and Chris Pine in the feature film, This Means War.

Christie's lead role on October Road led to additional work on several U.S. pilots and series, including the lead in The Prince of Motor City, a recurring role on Happy Town and a series lead in Alphas. He also stars in the upcoming Hallmark Channel original movie The Color of Rain, with Lacey Chabert.
