Every week, Katie will blog about the extraordinary secret her boss has shared with her.
Realizing Our Potential
Today, JJ Powell, Stephanie's tweeny son, dropped off a urine sample of a pregnant female, trying to pass it off as his own. As if that wasn't weird enough, he simultaneously solved an algorithm that even my highly educated brain couldn't handle. That's when I realized he came back from the plane crash all Neil Patrick Harris -- in his Doogie days, not Dr. Horrible.
Turning the information internally, I wondered what would have happened had I gone on that trip. I realized that although my choice would be the power of flight, based off of my hypothesis, I would have inherited the power of invisibility. Sometimes, I just need to turn invisible. I babble awkwardly making whoever I'm around uncomfortable, which I have no idea I've done until I go home and start drawing little hearts on my notebooks, only to never hear from Jeremy Camp again, er, or something like that.
Imagine if certain celebrities found a superpower to offset their weaknesses? Lindsay Lohan would transport. She could disappear in bad situations or at least arrive at her court dates on time. Charlie Sheen would shapeshift. When caught with a mystery lady or in a destroyed hotel room, he'd simply morph into someone else. Britney Spears would be able to time travel. She'd go back to the Justin days and not take them for granted. Lil Wayne could definitely use telekinesis. You know Mel Gibson would love mind control and end up being our villain. Oprah, well, actually now that I think about it, I bet Oprah already has powers.
Based off of your strengths and weaknesses what superpower do you WISH you could have? What superpower do you think you'd actually get? How can identifying your weaknesses help you to turn them into a strength?
