Ahinoamplayed by Simone Kessell
AHINOAM is the Queen of Israel and wife of Saul. She has stood alongside her husband for the entirety of his reign. She has served as co-architect of the Israel that Saul has created and has poured just as much effort into solidifying their mutual dream of uniting the Twelve Tribes. Power and legacy are important and vital to Ahinoam, a woman who’s never had a problem discussing strategy and war over dinner. Behind Ahinoam’s hardened exterior is a woman who has given up much for her country and remains fiercely loyal to the House of Saul. She rarely objects to Saul’s actions or wishes. But can a woman who’s given up everything for power stay loyal to her family if that very power is threatened or diminished?
