Poor Leroy just wants to have lunch! If you're wondering why she stole a fork, it's a nod to the Disney animated classic in which Ariel is enfatuated with everyday human objects, like a fork, which she's led to believe humans use for doing their hair.
Series creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz have mentioned on several occasions that Ariel is a fairy tale character that they'd like to incorporate into the show and I can't wait to see how they've done it. Fans with great memories will remember that when Mr. Gold explained the magic squid ink to Henry in season 2, episode 8 "Into the Deep", he mentioned it came from a very deep part of the ocean where only mermaids could travel. Think it's a connection?
